Welcome and Introduction

Prisons Mission Society is a nongovernmental organization (NGO). It is a Humanitarian Welfare and Social Organization.

Prisons Mission Society started its function in 1999 as a charitable organization in the field of prisons. It was officially registered in August 2002 under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860, to create a better world for prisoners to promote the education skills of prisoners as well as moral aptitude, and to equip them to face their future upon their release.

Increasing numbers of people in Pakistan are living below the poverty line. These people are not given the rights of survival, protection, development and participation.

Our Goals
What are we trying to achieve?

  • Social welfare for the prisoners
  • Rehabilitation of prisoners and their families
  • Uplifting of the prisoners in the field of Education, Religion, Social and Moral Sectors
  • Educating and providing health facilities to the prisoners in need
  • Providing help to the prisoners for their release
  • Providing daily necessities to the needy prisoners
  • Amendment in the Pakistan Prison Rules
  • To promote the education skills of prisoners as well moral aptitude
  • To coordinate with the prisoners and their families
  • To cooperate with national and international prison ministries and exchange experience and staff
